Christ qualified to atone for us because he undeservedly suffered abuse for us.

Jesus Christ alone can save as a protective covering concerning our sins, because when he absorbs the blows from the Destroyer, he does so as One who is entirely non-deserving of such evil treatment and abuse, and, therefore, can expect God’s super-compensating justice to counter that Satanic wrath with superabundant Divine favor.  This amounts to our protection and avenue into divine graciousness completely aside from works of righteousness we might do.  Our access into the fruits of Christ’s faithfulness is by our own authentic faith in HIS ACHIEVEMENT by death and resurrection.  [5/26/10]
